Last year the committee agreed that it should seek planning permission to extend the theatre. The new extension will improve toilet and washing facilities downstairs for performers. Upstairs will give us an offstage waiting area for performers going onstage and for those coming off stage. Planning permission was granted and work began in late January. This page will show updated images of the building work.
The roof is now on upstairs and the room was used for the fundraising show. There is still plenty of work to do. Plastering downstairs and then fitting out the toilets. We expect to announce the next phase of our fundraising in the very near future.
